**Job Summary**:
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Manage employee relations issues, i.e. investigation regarding conduct, performance, attendance, etc with primarily focus on shopfloor employees.
- Manage the Employees’ Representative Committee, collate feedback and make recommendation/resolution of the issues/concerns to management
- Work with Learning & Development to design programs to improve employee relation skills for people managers
- Implement measures to increase employee morale, motivation and satisfaction which will help to reduce turnover
- Promote a positive workplace environment through employee communication and engagement
- Implement policies, programs and procedures related to employee relations
- Administer progressive discipline in accordance to local and Corporate policy and procedures
- Record performance and disciplinary issues working with managers and supervisors
- Provide feedback to HR and departmental management regarding trends revealed in exit interviews
- Lead and/or participate in global HR related projects and initiatives
- Any other duties as assigned
**Basic Qualifications**:
- Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent
- Minimum 6 years relevant experience in handing employee relations or HRBP in a multinational corporation environment and/or manufacturing industries
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical, medical device and/or healthcare related industries will be highly advantageous
- Strong knowledge in employee relations, labor relations and labor legislation as well as being empathetic yet firm in making appropriate decisions/recommendations
- Versatile in handling people of all levels and demographic backgrounds
**Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:
- Meticulous, detail oriented and able to shift priorities
- Good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to cultivate relationships across teams
- High integrity for confidentiality of personnel information
- Able to work independently and to contribute as a team
- Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
- Support and contribute in Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target
- Able to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times
- Able to comply with the company’s quality policy at all times.
