Program Manager, Network Commercial and Business

**Minimum qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in project managing network infrastructure and network delivery.
- Experience with analytics and business data and metrics through dashboards or other reporting tools.
- Experience with program management in the networking operations area, and delivering infrastructure assets and vendor management.

**Preferred qualifications**:

- Certification in PMP.
- Experience with network acquisition cost analysis.
- Experience in various stages in the life-cycle of network acquisition from initial planning, sourcing, contracting, and delivery.
- Knowledge of the different types of commercial structures and the implications of each with regards to cost, timeline, and risk.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with a diverse range of people and job functions.
- Excellent problem solving and financial skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with internal business and cross-functional networking teams to identify and define tactical initiatives necessary to meet Google's network infrastructure needs for both expansion and cost optimization.
- Collaborate with other regional representatives and global lead to define processes and measurement metrics.
- Track and report network budget against spend and analyze spending trends/unit cost development over time.
- Project manage network plan with internal contributors such as network negotiators, network planners, or vendor delivery managers to ensure infrastructure is delivered on-time.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to communicate progress, define and improve business processes to enable automation, reduce lead time, and manage changes.
