**Project Manager (Optical Networks)**

**SUMMARY**:

- Our client is looking for an experienced Project Manager (Optical Networks) who will be responsible to plan, execute, and delver projects relate to optical network infrastructure. Your role will be critical in ensuring the successful implementation of optical network projects, meeting the company’s objectives and delivering high-quality network solutions to customers or internal stakeholders.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
1) Project planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, timelines, resources and budgeting. collaborate with vendors and project’s team to identify the project requirements and deliverables.
2) Resource Management: Coordinate with various teams, including internal optical network engineers, installers, vendors and contractors to allocate resources effectively and efficiently.
3) Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify potential risks and challenges in the project and devise mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project deliverables and timelines.
4) Progress Monitoring: Oversee the project’s progress, track milestones and regularly communicate updates to the stakeholders and customers.
5) Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, management and vendors to ensure alignment and address any concerns or issues promptly.
6) Change Management: Effectively manage any changes to the project scope, timelines or requirements and communicate these changes to all relevant parties.
7) Problem Solving: Identify and address project-related issues and challenges in a proactive and timely manner.
8) Documentation: Maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, risk assessments, and any necessary technical documentation.
9) Post-Project Evaluation: Conduct post-project evaluations to assess project success, identify areas for improvement, and capture lessons learned for future projects.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum degree in IT or network field.
- At least 5 years of optical networks experience.
- On-site installation experience is advantageous.
- Clear understanding of DWDM and telco networks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with effective presentation and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
