Join our team as a Network Provisioning Engineer II, the central figure responsible for managing internal and external orders critical for network maintenance. This role requires a high degree of independence, accuracy, and meticulous attention to detail.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Participate in the implementation of various software services.
- Assist the team in reviewing ticket requirements, reserving router interfaces, assigning patch panel demarcations, designing paths, tracking FOC (Fiber Optic Cable) and DLR (Due Later Requests), requesting equipment patching, and ordering cross-connects.
- Monitor milestones and take proactive action to address any issues that could potentially delay order completions.
- Provide comprehensive and timely status updates throughout the implementation life cycle in the tracking system, including communication of vendor provisioning/install lead times.
- Document service requests, escalate as necessary, and provide timely and accurate updates.
- Aid in the design, provisioning, and testing of delivered services to ensure a quality hand-off to internal customers.
- Expedite and escalate issues when required to ensure the timely delivery of services.
- Assist in prioritizing projects, managing and directing activities to ensure connectivity is delivered within project schedules.
- Communicate and collaborate with internal customers, stakeholders, and network carriers.
- Assist with the development of metrics and operational reporting/reviews.
- Support planned systems maintenance activities while minimizing service impact.
- Read and comprehend vendor-specific requirements.
- Deploy and support the client's global production network, including edge, backbone, data center, and content delivery network infrastructure.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance during deployment activities in client data centers and POPs, covering facility power, cooling, rack layout and cable management, physical equipment installation, network equipment configuration, testing, and handoff for production traffic.
- Perform other duties as required. This list is not exhaustive and may evolve over time.

**Required Qualifications/Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) with 0 to 2 years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to establish stable working relationships internally.
- Adherence to standard practices and procedures when analyzing situations or data.
- Knowledge of cable throughput and transit distances.
- Understanding of the telecommunications industry in a switched network provisioning environment.
- Familiarity with basic telecommunications practices, terminologies, and interfaces.
- Understanding of provisioning network bandwidth for IP transit, fiber, voice, and wavelength services.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Network Certification. Various coding experience.
