**Position Summary**:
The Head Chef will lead and oversee all kitchen operations and be responsible for menu creation, food quality, hygiene standards, cost control, and team management. This role requires a seasoned culinary professional with at least **10 years of experience in Indian fine dining**and a strong track record of leading and developing kitchen brigades.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the kitchen team to deliver consistently high-quality and authentic Indian cuisine with modern fine dining presentation.
- Develop, refine, and innovate seasonal menus in line with the restaurant’s culinary vision.
- Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standard and presented in a timely, attractive, and hygienic manner.
- Oversee all kitchen operations including food preparation, inventory management, portion control, food costing, and waste management.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of junior chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations according to local health standards.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in all kitchen areas.
- Work closely with the restaurant management team on menu planning, special events, and promotional activities.
- Manage kitchen budgets, monitor food costs, and achieve profitability targets without compromising food quality.
- Source and liaise with suppliers to ensure the procurement of high-quality ingredients.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 10 years of experience in Indian cuisine, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in a fine dining environment.
- Formal culinary training from a recognised institution is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of regional Indian spices, ingredients, cooking methods, and plating techniques.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire a team in a high-pressure kitchen environment.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
- Strong understanding of food costing, kitchen operations, and inventory control.
