The Skin Research Institute of Singapore has an opening for a Senior Research Fellow in Cellular/Molecular Biology to be located at the Clinical Sciences Building, LKCMedicine Novena.

An industry funded position is open in the field of skin health. We are looking for an experienced post-doctoral research fellow with expertise in cell line derivation and preferably organoid culture to work as part of a multidisciplinary team addressing a variety of skin-related research areas. The research fellow will derive novel human cell lines for use in compound screening. Prior experience with skin and/or stem cell biology is desirable, as is exposure to microbiology.

**Requirements**:

- Ph.D in Cellular/Molecular biology or related Life Sciences disciplines.
- Strong, documented expertise in stem cell biology is desirable
- Experience with standard molecular biology and cell biology techniques
- Prior exposure to microbiology is desirable
- Interest in translational work and gaining industry experience
- A team player with excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Scientific curiosity, ability to work independently and in a team, desire to learn new skills
- Ability and willingness to work in diverse global teams and with industrial partners
- Ability to work under tight schedules
- Knowledge of skin biology would be advantageous
