Singapore KIDZ OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY CONSULTANTS PTE. LTD. Full time

We are an pediatric focused occupational therapy centre that require support from a counsellor experience in working with individuals (aged 2 to 22) and their families.

Scope includes:

- Conducting assessement for mental health
- Performing screening for developmental conditions including dyslexia and ADHD
- Providing counselling face to face, over the telephone, or online
- Performing school and home visits
- Collaborating with care-professionals via case-conferencing
- Preparation of relevant reports Keeping confidential records

Key responsibilities include:

- Building a relationship of trust and respect with clients
- Working with individuals, families or groups and their care-professionals
- Listening to clients' concerns, empathising with them, and helping them to see things more clearly or in a different way.
- Focusing on function rather than emphasis on diagnosis
- Working to support individuals meet their potential
