**WHAT is this role about?**:
Mothership’s Instagram account is the most-followed Instagram account amongst news publishers in Singapore.

We are looking for a Social Media Content Creator who will be at the forefront of engaging with our audience on the platform.

You will create multimedia content based on trends and conversations of the day, and ideate and execute evergreen original content ideas that will be seen by hundreds of thousands of followers.

We are a young, collaborative team that values and respects one another's ideas and feedback, and that strives to create content that is relevant and engaging for our audiences.

A snippet of what you can expect to be doing on a day-to-day basis:

- Creating content in multimedia formats, with an emphasis on short-form videos (i.e. Reels)
- Ideating and pitching original content ideas
- Curating and repurposing daily content from across other Mothership assets (e.g. news articles and videos)
- Designing assets and materials for social media
- Managing content series and projects independently

If you are passionate about creating multimedia content in a variety of formats and genres, you might just be who we are looking for.

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Relevant experience in video production and/or social media content creation (including internships) will be advantageous.

If you are someone who:

- Is in tune with trends and happenings on Instagram, and has a good understanding of the social media landscape
- Possesses good video production and photography/videography skills
- Is proficient in photo and video editing software and apps such as Premiere Pro, CapCut, and Canva
- Has good design and aesthetic sense, with an attention to detail
- Has good storytelling ability, and can create interesting content angles
- Is creative and content-driven
- Is able to work both independently and as a team
- Is adaptable to change and willing to learn
