Singapore Vacuum Technique Singapore Pte Ltd Full time

**The Role**:

- Support in managing SHE Program and strategy for Service operations.
- Implements and maintains ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems, policies, risk assessments and safe work procedures.
- Conducts/supports internal and external ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 audits.
- Conducts incident/accident investigations related to security, emergency response and contractor safety & health matters, and implement corrective measures to prevent a recurrence.
- Support workshop to perform industrial hygiene survey, environment monitoring activities and maintains the necessary records.
- Assist in the investigations and reporting of accidents/incidents and recommend preventive and corrective measures.
- Plan and coordinate regular workplace inspection to assess safety performance, identify areas of improvement and monitor effectiveness of corrective and preventive measures.
- Provides oversight for contractor work activities including environmental, safety and health training, qualification and selection, audits, and program enhancements.
- Conducts fire drills, tabletop, and business continuity plans. Support in the training and preparation of the emergency response team.
- Conducts SHE induction training to employees and contractors.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned.

**What we expect of you?**
- Diploma in an engineering or equivalent field, with Specialist Diploma in WSH or Bachelor's Degree in Environmental, Health and Safety/Science/Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 3 years working experience in WSH related fields or equivalent in a manufacturing industry.
- Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer
- Certified Fire Safety Manager will be added advantages.
- Detailed understanding and knowledge on regulatory requirements related to workplace safety and health, environment as well as ISO14001 and ISO45001 standards.
- Strong technical experience in identifying, evaluating, and controlling hazards in workplace
- Ability to work with diverse group of people ranging from production staff to management team
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates in view of business communications
