We are seeking an experienced and passionate HR Regional Manager to join our team in Singapore. This role involves playing a vital role in partnering with diverse business stakeholders to deliver the transformation journey, together with shaping the organization’s human resource’s function, ensuring that it supports the company’s strategic objectives across multiple locations within the APAC region.
As HR Regional Manager you will
- Support the Business and Site leaders by maintaining a comprehensive overview of all HR-related matters, being a change agent and contributing to strengthening a regional Leadership team mindset by connecting people and helping them to better collaborate and be aligned.
- Play a vital role in shaping the organization’s human resources function and ensuring it supports the company’s strategic objectives, including Murex culture ownership (Murex values, Murex Way, People centric and caring).
- Act as the primary HR contact in the APAC region and collaborate closely with HR teams at local, regional, and global levels with a business-oriented mindset
- Interact and collaborate with diverse teams, from many nationalities beyond APAC region, in a matrixial organization.
The mission specifically includes:
- Strategic HR Management. This includes workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning. You understand the regional business needs and translate them into concrete HR strategies.
- HR Business Partner (HRBP). This strategic role focuses on aligning HR policies and procedures with the overall goals of the company. You work closely with upper management to determine HR needs, implement goals, and improve relationships between leadership and employees. You are involved in decision-making processes, coaching and mentoring employees, and ensuring that HR activities support the business objectives. HRBPs play a vital role in connecting the human resources function with the business side of the company to achieve desired outcomes.
- Manage performance appraisal system that aligns with the organizational objectives.
- Employee Relations. You contribute to a positive working environment and bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances mediating disputes, and ensuring that HR policies are consistently applied across the region.
- Compliance and Risk Management. You guarantee that legal requirements are met and ensure that the organization adheres to them. This includes overseeing health and safety regulations, managing employee records, and conducting audits to identify and mitigate risks.
- Internal communication. This involves acting as a bridge between employees and management, ensuring that information flows smoothly and transparently across all levels: disseminating important updates, policies, and changes to the workforce, fostering a culture of open communication and collaboration. By maintaining clear and consistent communication channels, the HR Regional Manager helps to build trust and engagement among employees, which is essential for a positive and productive work environment. Additionally, the manager facilitates feedback mechanisms, allowing employees to voice their concerns and suggestions, and ensures that these are addressed appropriately by the leadership team.
- Partner with the global domains to foster expertise such as in learning, talent acquisition and comp & ben, by giving the regional insight, constraints and needs.
To be successful in the role, you should possess/be:
- 10 to 15 years of experience as an HR Manager or other HR Executive, preferably in the fintech, finance, or technology sector in global corporate.
- Ability to foster strong collaboration and engagement with business leaders and HR teams, acting as a connector and an agent of change.
- Servant leadership: approachable, empathetic, and capable of handling sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
