Partner Sales Manager, Small/medium Business

**Minimum qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in a sales, partner, or channel manager role.
- Experience with cloud-based technologies and service provider ecosystems and business models.
**Preferred qualifications**:
- Experience in SaaS or cloud IT infrastructure sales, partner management or technical.
- Experience with cloud partner ecosystem, System Integrators (SIs) or Service Providers (SPs), Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), telcos, and web or other partners.
- Experience presenting to all level audiences.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional organization.
- Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate analysis into actionable plans.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and leadership skills, with the ability to drive partner growth and contribute to the teams culture.
**About the job**:
Google Cloud teams work with schools, companies, and government agencies to make them more productive, mobile, and collaborative. On this team, you will drive Google Cloud business relationships by analyzing partner business performance, identifying methods of increasing partner and Google returns, pitching ideas to and identifying opportunities within partners, and coordinating across Google teams to deliver. You will educate our partners on the power of Google Cloud and enable them to be successful in driving innovation to our customers.
In this role, you will help shape the future of businesses of all sizes and use technology to connect with customers, employees and partners. You will combine partner management with business development and manage business relationships with key partners and prospects to develop new areas of collaboration, growth initiatives and new lines of business.
You will deliver business commitments across Google Cloud Platform (GCP) by working collaboratively with our Partner team, Sales teams and our extensive partner network. You will work with key Small/Medium Business (SMB) partners to develop their Google Cloud business via sales and marketing campaigns, trainings and enablement.

**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and execute SMB growth plans for partners in assigned territory, starting from an annual plan with aligned goals, investments and capabilities.
- Drive funnel building, progress across the partner ecosystem. Work with the partner to close agreement directly with the customers.
- Build strong relationships from C-level to representatives at key partners.
- Manage business performance of partners and develop strategies to meet goals in the market. Identify issues and opportunities, test, analyze and execute on new sales initiatives. Report on progress regularly.
- Use quarterly business reviews for overall progress and regular engagement to drive day to day improvement.
