We are an established accounting firm offering an internship opportunity for motivated and detail-oriented individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in accounting. As an **Accounts Intern**, you will gain practical experience in bookkeeping, accounting processes, tax filings, and client support. This role is ideal for polytechnic students, undergraduates, or fresh graduates who have basic accounting knowledge and want to gain hands-on exposure in a professional firm.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Under the guidance of our professional team, you will:
**Accounting Tasks**:

- Assist in data entry of accounting transactions (e.g., sales, purchases, bank entries)
- Help in preparing simple bookkeeping reports using accounting software
- Support month-end closing processes
- Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable tracking
- Organize and maintain accounting documents and files

**Tax & Compliance Support**:

- Help prepare basic documents for GST and corporate tax filing
- Assist in compiling client records and supporting documents for tax purposes
- Support the team in preparing simple statutory forms or summaries

**Administrative Support**:

- File and organize client documents (both hardcopy and digital)
- Assist in updating internal trackers and databases
- Support ad-hoc duties assigned by the accounting team

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications**:

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a **Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business**:

- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks) is a plus but not required

**Soft Skills**:

- Willingness to learn and take initiative
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Responsible, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality
- Able to work well both independently and in a team environment
- Good communication and time management skills
