Accounting Intern

We are currently looking for an Accounting intern to join us in Singapore. You will work closely with a senior mentor to gain technical knowledge and experience in your field, and cooperate with a broader international team both locally and globally. You will gain hands-on experience with one of our Accounting teams overseeing regional activities.
More Information:
In this role, you’ll be fully embedded into the finance organization and engage with stakeholders across the business including other accounting teams, Audit, Business Controls and Transformation. This internship will give you the opportunity to gain insight into the operation of a dynamic accounting function and how it contributes to the success of the business. In addition, you will gain experience of working in a global operating environment, interacting with colleagues locally and across the globe.

Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in the running of the daily operations and ensuring compliance to policies and controls-
- analyze and interpret customers' financial statuses to assess risk effectively- Support the compilation of data in relation to various accounting entries and financial statement disclosures- Validate payment invoices- Collect Associates expenses report and maintain registration log- Participate in monthly System Close Activities, internal and external audit assistance- Network with other talented interns in an inclusive and diverse workplace where you can be yourself and thrive
What you will bring:
- You must be enrolled in an accredited university in Singapore for the whole duration of the internship.- Studying for a degree in Accountancy or Finance or related field- Ability to manage tasks, meet deadlines and analyze data to foster data-driven decisions- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English- Competency and willingness to learn Microsoft Excel - Pivots, Vlookups, etc.- Passion, curiosity, and desire to create new things and examine how things work internally- Willingness to learn and proactively work as a part of a wider team
