Meaningful Work From Day One
This position is part of the Emerging Asia leadership team. Reporting to the Area Manager, the Sales Manager is responsible for implementing the country strategies and Brown-Forman’s portfolio development in Singapore and Malaysia. The role will manage the route-to-consumer and brand plans with partners and ensure excellent execution with teams. On top of that, this will be a key role to develop, build and implement commercial processes to support the strategy work for the region.
What You Can Expect- Work closely with key functions including Marketing, IMC and Finance to ensure a collaborative and well-supported Brand and Country plan- Manage and build capabilities with team members- Create channel activity plan including activations and incentive programs in line with brand strategies and key business opportunities- Develop comprehensive account plan for designated key accounts that included sales forecast, exclusivity or preferred partner tie-ups, on-going customer support and up-sell opportunities- Ensure the availability of Brown-Forman Brand portfolio in key channels- Develop new business partnerships, channels, and distribution opportunities- Develop and implement the Commercial strategies with measurable goals- Manage and build capabilities with team members- Partner / Distributor Management What You Bring to the Table- Relevant university holder, Bachelors or equivalent- 5+ years of sales, commercial or distributor management with proven track record- Deep understanding of the spirits industry- Multi-channel management and Key Accounts Management experience- Sales Operations, including planning and hands-on execution- Trade Marketing management experience is an added advantage- Experience working in an international environment- What Makes You Unique- A team player and to work with others within a multinational company- Influencing skills to operate cross-border international/multi-market operations- Strategic planning skills/awareness and championing international strategy- Strong analytical skills and Result-Oriented- Highly effective communications and negotiations skills
