**What the role is**
- The Agency for Care Effectiveness (ACE) was set up as a division of the Healthcare Performance Group in August 2015 to drive appropriate care as part of MOH’s broader initiatives to manage healthcare costs. ACE provides independent evidence-based evaluations of health technologies (e.g. drugs, vaccines, medical technologies, cell and gene therapies) to inform funding decisions and produces technology guidances on their appropriate use; and develops clinical guidance to inform healthcare professionals on specific areas of clinical practice. To improve patients’ access to affordable treatments, ACE conducts value-based pricing negotiations with manufacturers to ensure prices of selected health technologies are commensurate with the value the technology provides based on proven clinical outcomes. Efforts to support subsidy implementation of health technologies evaluated by ACE and utilisation review of the impact of subsidy decisions are also part of ACE’s mandate. ACE also develops and delivers educational materials and programmes for healthcare professionals and consumers to drive the practice and consumption of appropriate care respectively. Overall, ACE supports three key stakeholders - payer, provider and patient/public to assist them in making better and more informed decision-making in healthcare.

**What you will be working on**
- As Manager/ Assistant Manager (Medical Technology Adoption), you will support the implementation of medical technology guidance adoption strategies, working with a broad range of stakeholders including front-line clinicians and other healthcare and operations staff, suppliers of products and other industry partners, as well as internal stakeholders within MOH to identify the challenges and solutions to translate selected health technologies approved by MOH (e.g. devices, diagnostic tests and gene therapies) into practice. The incumbent will also be part of the Secretariat team of the medical technology adoption team and will be responsible for the following: - Secretariat duties, including minutes writing, planning and tracking the schedule and steps to be taken to implement positive and negative subsidy decisions of health technologies endorsed by the MOH Advisory Committees e.g. Medical Technology Advisory Committee. - Providing general administrative support to the team;
- Developing and implement a filing system for all official documents, to ensure public accountability;
- Maintaining records of discussion through file notes with various internal and external stakeholders;
- Coordinating and overseeing end-to-end administrative processes (e.g. monitor and track the status of contract signing for subsequent follow ups etc) for various workstreams such as the Framework to review and update the Medical Technology Subsidy List that includes the model addition process or annual call for topics;
- Coordinating and organising meetings with stakeholders;
- Providing support to the MTAC Secretariat and other ACE Committees as required and assigned;
- Assisting with any/all other administrative duties as assigned by team members and supervisors;
- Working in a fast-paced and highly volatile environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.
