Procurement Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- **Strategic Planning**:
Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's overall business goals, considering market trends, seasonality, and cost-effectiveness.
- **Sourcing and Supplier Management**:
Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships to ensure consistent quality and competitive pricing.
- **Negotiation and Contract Management**:
Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers, manage contracts, and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- **Supply Chain Management**:
Manage the flow of goods and services, including inventory management, logistics, and order fulfillment.
- **Risk Management**:
Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks, such as disruptions, cost increases, or supplier failures.
- **Performance Monitoring and Reporting**:
Track and report on key procurement metrics, such as cost savings, supplier performance, and contract compliance.
- **Collaboration and Communication**:
Work with internal stakeholders, including sales, finance, and operations, to ensure clear communication and alignment.
- **Compliance**:
Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and relevant regulations.
- **Budget Management**:
Manage the procurement budget effectively, seeking opportunities for cost savings and optimization.
Trading Company Specifics:
- **International Procurement**:
Experience with international sourcing, import/export procedures, and currency fluctuations.
- **Commodity Knowledge**:
Familiarity with the specific commodities or goods traded by the company.
- **Market Analysis**:
Ability to analyze market trends and pricing dynamics to identify opportunities for cost savings and better deals.
- **Logistics and Transportation**:
Understanding of global logistics and transportation networks to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
**Required Skills & Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field with at least 8-10 years of relevant procurement experience, particularly in the semiconductor and high-precision manufacturing industries.
- Proven success in integrating procurement functions, supplier onboarding, new product introduction (NPI) projects and leading regional procurement operations.
- Deep understanding of supply chain management practices within APAC
- Demonstrated ability to implement cost reductions and streamline processes.
- Extensive experience in building and managing teams.

Pay: $5,500.00 - $7,500.00 per month
