Director of Business Development

Your responsibilities shall include (in no particular order):
Business Development

Phase 1: Set up

(a) Build customer and 3rdparty relationships and actively source distribution networks to expand PetCubes’ global presence;
(b) Develop business proposals and Joint Business Plan (JBP) for key distributors articulating business strategy, ambitions, and product offerings for successful sell-in;
(c) Manage sales operations via distributors and track performances to adept to commercial plans;
(d) Build knowledge and understanding of local markets’ demands and regulations to accelerate performance and commercial executions;

Phase 2: Go-to market

(e) Create fully integrated plan with Brand marketing and the Director of Nutrition to strengthen brand presence;
(f) Clearly define portfolio role of each market with focus area on where-to-play, how-to-win;
(g) Develop distinct go-to-market strategy for each overseas market and lead execution plan;
(h) Develop annual budget plan for customer business development activities and timely review with Finance controlling on overall P&L to drive profitable growth;
(i) Own route-to-market and plan for demand/supply of goods with production team;

Brand Building

Strategy Development

(j) Grow a strong brand with life-time value to delight customers;
(k) Lead marketing team and business partners to strategize and execute with excellence, growing core business and furthering future opportunities, including conducting of semi-annual KPIs and appraisals of the team;
(l) Review and develop growth strategies to deliver market share via pricing, portfolio, market segment, GTM and channel strategy assessment for SG and overseas markets;
(m) Builds knowledge and understanding of product assortment with Nutrition team in order to develop effective marketing communications;
(n) Competitive Intelligence - analyze data and consumer focus groups to understand local market’s consumer perception vs competition;
Performance and digital marketing

(o) Review and identify key business drivers to arrive at efficient investment model;
(p) Lead marketing communications with team and review artworks, claims, graphic designs and brand communications prior to publications;
(r) Develop framework to assess right-to-win in each market;
(s) Drive strategic revenue management with optimal pricing/mix/promotions/trade fund spends for sustainable YOY growth; and

(t) Organization and employee motivation to achieve better productivity and results.

The Company may at its discretion require you to perform other duties or tasks not within the scope of your normal duties hereunder and you shall perform those duties or undertake those tasks as if they were specified under this Agreement.
