Warehouse & Logistics Specialist Ecommerce Leathercraft

The **Warehouse & Logistics Specialist**is responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of the companies e-commerce logistics, warehouse management, order fulfilment, & inventory control.

This individual will ensure that all processes run smoothly and efficiently, particularly during peak periods, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

**YOUR NEW JOB**:
**Warehouse Management**
- Oversee warehouse operations to ensure efficient storage practices and safety standards.
- Manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and excess inventory, using advanced inventory management systems for tracking and forecasting.

**Logistics Operations**
- Manage the complete logistics process, from order receipt through to fulfillment, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods.
- Plan and optimize transportation routes and methods to reduce costs and improve delivery times.
- Leverage technology such as ERP systems to integrate order processing, inventory management, and shipping operations.

**Customs & Tax Compliance**
- Handle customs clearance processes, ensuring that all goods are cleared through customs swiftly and legally.
- Ensure compliance with applicable domestic and international customs regulations and tax laws.
- Manage accurate calculation and payment of duties and taxes to avoid legal issues and penalties.

**Documentation & Compliance**
- Prepare and maintain essential documentation for international shipments, including customs declarations and proof of export/import.
- Keep records of all logistics transactions for compliance and auditing purposes.

**Technology & Systems Integration**
- Implement and manage technology solutions like Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to enhance efficiency.
- Use automation and data analytics tools to streamline operations and provide real time insights into logistics and customs processes.

**Cost Management & Optimization**
- Monitor logistics and warehouse operations budgets, focusing on costsaving measures without compromising service quality.
- Explore duty optimization strategies such as free trade agreements and duty drawback schemes to reduce overall expenditure.

**Team Leadership & Development**
- Lead and develop a team dedicated to logistics, warehouse, and customs compliance operations.Provide ongoing training and support to ensure the team is proficient in the latest logistics practices and compliance regulations.

**WHAT IS NEEDED FROM YOU**
- Minimum 4 years of proven experience in logistics, & warehouse management
- Expertise in optimizing storage & distribution
- Skilled in managing and supervising warehouse & logistics
- Proven record of improving warehouse & logistics operations
- Experienced in physical inventory management & on-the-ground logistics coordination
- Well-versed in navigating complex customs processes (including compliance with international trade laws across different jurisdictions)
- Skilled in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) & Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
- Experience managing teams, particularly during peak operational periods
- Ability to lead, motivate, & communicate effectively with a diverse team
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication & interpersonal skills

**WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT**

- Hands-on experience with Ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify)
- Proven endurance with physically demanding work including extended periods of standing & lifting bulky cartons up to 5kg
- Experience working in the Leathercraft, Leather goods or Fashion industry
- Experience working with third-party logistics providers and shipping partners
