Our client, an established and growing Powertools distributor, headquartered in Singapore and operating within the Asean region in Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Singapore and Myanmar.

The Regional Commercial Director holds full commercial responsibility for the regional business, driving strong execution of a newly defined commercial strategy in alignment with Principal.

This role requires leadership and development of local commercial teams while ensuring synergies in market development and operational efficiency.

**Responsibilities**:
Sales Performance
- Define clear sales targets and KPIs.
- Utilize analytics to track and enhance sales performance.
- Report on sales achievements and insights to Management.

Channel Strategy & Management
- Develop and maintain a sustainable distribution network.
- Oversee business operations and integrate sales channels seamlessly.
- Use market and customer data to optimize sales strategies.

Market Expansion
- Identify and engage with high-potential dealers and customers.
- Implement a scoring model for the top three regional markets.

New Business Categories
- Develop and execute a go-to-market (G2M) strategy to establish a strong secondary business pillar beyond chainsaws.

Customer Relationship Management
- Implement a CRM system for improved customer engagement.
- Launch targeted campaigns to enhance commercial approaches and customer retention.
- Cross Department Collaboration
- Coordinate regular meetings between sales, marketing, and other departments.
- Share best practices and successful strategies across teams.

Alignment with Principal
- Provide regular updates on regional performance and market insights.
- Advocate for regional needs and support from Principal.

Sales Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, and support high-performing sales talent.
- Foster a results-driven and motivated sales culture.

- Demonstrated sales expertise with a successful track record
- Experience managing complex sales operations
- Proven ability to lead regional sales teams effectively
- Strong understanding of local market processes, legal frameworks, and trade regulations within SEA
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
