**Job Description
Reinforce the commodity trading franchise business by bringing broader industrial knowledge, networking and customer relationship.
- **Strategic Planning**: Develop and implement trading strategies and business planning to maximize profitability and manage risks effectively.
- **Market Analysis**: Monitor global commodity markets and trends, and forecast future market movements to inform trading decisions, in particular China originated analysis.
- **Risk Management**: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with commodity trading, including price volatility, supply chain disruptions, and regulatory changes.
- **Team Leadership**: Lead and mentor a team of traders, analysts, and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- **Relationship Management**: Build and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international commodity traders, customers and fund managers to ensure smooth operations and favourable trading terms.
- **Compliance and Reporting**: Ensure all trading activities comply with relevant laws and regulations, and prepare regular reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
- **Financial Oversight**: Oversee the financial performance of the trading desk, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

**Job Requirement**
- Bachelor degree and above
- At least 10 years of experience in commodity industry
- In a leading role of commodity desk
- Familiar with cross-border business model
- Commodity trading and analysis
- Experience in developing and implementation of trading strategies
- Fluent Mandarin and English to liaise with our Chinese counterparts
- Quantitative skillset in analysis
- Deep understanding of the commodity market
- Well established framework for cross-border business
- Entrepreneurial spirit, self-disciplined and stress-resistant
