Head of Finance/ Finance Director Role in The Commodity Trading Sector

Our client is a growing firm in the commodity trading sector. This is a hands-on head of finance role managing a small team reporting to the global head of finance and the CEO in Singapore.

**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Responsible for supporting and overseeing financial accounting, reporting including consolidation of the group and liquidity management.
- Prepare/present Management reports and presentation deck to Management, Audit Com and Board.
- Ensure MAS regulated entity set of accounts are managed and kept in accordance regulatory requirements
- Work on fund raising activities and other finance /accounting functions.
- Spearhead and implement finance transformation projects.

**QUALIFICATIONS/ ACADEMIC BACKGROUND/ SKILLS**
- **Bachelor’s Degree in accountancy and a member of ISCA**:

- **Min 15+ years of experience with some years of commodity trading exposure**:

- **Knowledge of MAS regulations, IFRS and/or US GAAP is required**:

- **Hands-on experience doing finance transformation work is beneficial**:

- Very hands-on despite being senior
- Adaptable, meticulous and flexible.
- Good presentation and communication skills
- Possess strong people skills
