As a Head Chef, you will play a pivotal role in creating nutritious and delicious meals for our clients. You will lead our kitchen team in planning menus, sourcing ingredients, and preparing meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of new mothers. Additionally, you will ensure that food safety and sanitation standards are upheld at all times.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop creative and nutritious menus that cater to the dietary requirements of postpartum mothers.
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff in meal preparation, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
- Oversee inventory management, ordering, and sourcing of fresh, high-quality ingredients.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate with nutritionists and healthcare professionals to address specific dietary needs and preferences.
- Stay updated on culinary trends, dietary guidelines, and best practices in postpartum nutrition.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a reputable culinary establishment.
- Strong culinary skills and a passion for creating nutritious and flavourful meals.
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire kitchen staff.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations, with a commitment to upholding high standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively with nutritionists and healthcare professionals to meet the dietary needs of clients.
- Flexibility to adapt menus and meal plans based on client feedback and dietary restrictions.
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred.
