Institution Business Analyst, Finance

This role reports to the NHG Group CIO Office with direct charter to manage assigned cluster portfolio and projects. NHG’s vision is “Adding years of healthy life”. **Role and Responsibilities**

**Strategic Direction**:

- Provide leadership to NHG on IT strategy and planning to achieve the business needs of the assigned Portfolio.
- Ensure portfolio alignment to NHG’s IT Technology Strategic Plan and budget prioritisation.
- Engage business stakeholders to align IT portfolio with strategic business direction.

**Portfolio Budgeting**:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify IT strategic needs and projects for NHG IT Eco-system and consolidate into the portfolio.
- Provide input to high level pre-project assessment and feasibility studies to portfolio.
- Collaborate with Institution stakeholders, IT Directors, Synapxe PDs and PMs for all upcoming projects to ensure synergies for deployment.
- Evaluate and prioritise projects for implementation for the assigned portfolio.
- Seek IT funding approval from cluster for portfolio and project execution.

**Oversee Project Approval and Delivery**:

- Manage stakeholders to obtain approval for projects.
- Collaborate with PDs, PMs and technical support to determine project requirements, budget assessment and implementation approach, including project costs for work plan.
- Oversee the execution of prioritised projects and the delivery according to plan (time, quality, cost)
- Supports various IT governance forum.

**People Management**:

- Assess and determine IT manpower needs and to update GCIO when necessary.
- Collaborate with IT Directors and IHiS PDs to identify the necessary competencies and domain experience required for project delivery.
- Collaborate with Synapxe HCM, RM and PDs (where applicable) to manage manpower planning, retention and development of IT staff and resourcing to support NHG so as to ensure agreed NHG service levels are met

**Institution Outcomes and KPIs**:

- Responsible for and manage the assigned portfolio of project development, maintenance and support activities to IT Directors, GCIO and key stakeholders.
- Responsible for KPIs and ensure compliance with target ratings

**Others**:

- Drive or support ad-hoc activities and exercises required by Cluster or GCIO
- Participate in audit if necessary.
- Participate in NHG portfolio workgroups and steering committees.
- Responsible for IT planning and implementation of cluster developments
- Undertake any requests as directed by GCIO in alignment with cluster objectives and goals

**Requirements / Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree (IT related field will be advantageous)
- Excellent problem solving skills, excellent written/communication and interpersonal skills, strong negotiating skills, superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities, strong organizational and customer service skills, able to motivate, lead and work with cross functional teams
- More than 8 years of relevant working experience in Finance or related field.
