Educator-helper for Two Children

**About Our Family**: We are a quiet, home-focused family living in a landed house in Singapore. Our family consists of two working parents (one working from home), our 3-year-old son, our 4-month-old infant, and a friendly 9kg Mini Schnauzer. We speak English at home and value honesty, respect, kindness, and cleanliness. We already have one wonderful helper and are looking for a second, long-term helper with a passion for childhood education to join our family and work as a team.

**Key Responsibilities for the 3-Year-Old**:

- Develop and lead daily structured learning activities (e.g., 1-2 hours per day).
- Teach foundational concepts including phonics, letters, numbers, and colours.
- Engage him with daily reading, storytelling, and arts and crafts projects.
- Foster development through educational, play-based learning (e.g., puzzles, building blocks).
- Help prepare him for his future preschool journey.

**Key Responsibilities for the 4-Month-Old Infant**:

- Engage in age-appropriate developmental activities, including tummy time, sensory play, and music/singing.
- Patiently help establish healthy routines for sleep and play.
- Actively monitor and encourage developmental milestones.

**Secondary Role: Household & Team Responsibilities** You will work in partnership with our current helper to ensure our home runs smoothly. Your secondary duties will include:

- Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the children's bedrooms and playroom.
- Assisting with the children's laundry and preparing their meals/snacks.
- Working collaboratively with our other helper on general household cleaning tasks.
- Providing household coverage during the other helper's rest days or leave.
- Assisting with light care for our small, friendly dog.
- **Experience**: A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience. A background as a preschool teacher, tutor, or similar role focused on early childhood education is essential.
- **Language**: Good command of English (spoken and written) is required to effectively teach our children.
- **Personal Attributes**: We are looking for someone who is patient, creative, energetic, and naturally engaging with children. You must be honest, respectful, and able to communicate clearly. A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently on creating educational plans are highly valued.
- **Team Player**: Must have excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards working harmoniously with another helper.
- Must be comfortable with a small dog.
