We are seeking a skilled SQL Migration and Database Specialist to lead our database migration projects and optimize our data management processes. This role requires expertise in SQL and database management, with a focus on ensuring smooth migrations, data integrity, and mínimal downtime. You will work closely with IT teams to develop migration strategies, troubleshoot issues, and enhance database performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, execute, and oversee SQL database migrations, ensuring accuracy, data integrity, and mínimal downtime.
- Analyze existing database structures and recommend improvements to optimize performance and scalability.
- Perform data validation and consistency checks before, during, and after migrations.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, optimize queries, and ensure databases run efficiently.
- Implement robust backup and recovery plans to protect data during migration and reduce risk of data loss.
- Diagnose and resolve database issues in a timely manner, ensuring mínimal disruption to operations.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven of 5+ years of experience in SQL database migration and administration.
- Strong understanding of relational database design, optimization, and data modeling.
- Familiarity with various SQL database platforms (e.g., MySQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle).
- Proficiency in SQL scripting and query optimization.
- Experience with data migration tools and techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and resolve database issues.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data integration.

Soft Skills:

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex database concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with cloud database solutions (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database).
- Knowledge of data security best practices and GDPR compliance.
- Certifications in database management or cloud technologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator).
