DESIGNATION : Research Engineer (11-month contract), SCIS
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research on tackling the research problems of SAR image recognition
- Develop the state-of-the-art algorithms of SAR object detection and segmentation and publish research papers
- Implement the systematical toolbox of SAR object detection and segmentation
- Participate the 6-monthly meeting with DSO collaborators
- Demonstrate and visualize the research results to DSO collaborators
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related disciplines from a reputable institution of higher learning
- Minimum 3 years of relevant research experience in computer vision and machine learning
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++ will be positively considered/ is required
- Demonstrated experience and know-how on training deep learning models
- Experience with at least one programming software, such as Pytorch, or Tensorflow is preferred
- Excellent working knowledge of deep learning methods
- Good analytical, technical and problem solving skills
- Applicants with research publications in computer vision area will be advantageous
- Self-motivated individual who can work independently and also collaboratively with team members
