The position will have accountability for development and implementation of business strategy

and plan for forming new partnerships with Fintech, Alternative Payment partners, Wallets in Asia

Pacific in an effort to grow the total volume & revenue targets.

The position will be responsible for developing and executing the business strategy and plan as

well as building a robust pipeline of Fintech companies, Alternative Payment partners and Wallet

partners. The person would be responsible to manage a few key partners as well as working with

all country representatives of IM, along with the cross-functional teams, to support management

and execution of such programs.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Identify and create pipeline of business opportunities with fintechs, wallets and alternative payment companies across APAC
- Develop and execute strategy with assistance from his/her manager and APAC leadership team
- Working with various internal stakeholders to create a new process to support business development activities in collaboration with Legal, Risk, Product, Pricing, Operations, etc.
- Develop and manage a few key partners
- Support his/her peers in countries across APAC region to deliver new partnerships and programs
- Support growing DGN Acceptance, Volume & revenue with those partnerships

KEY SKILLS:

- Must demonstrate strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Demonstrate proven ability to develop and successfully implement, quantifiable business plans
- Experience of working with fintechs / wallets / commercial payments & Industry knowledge and networking especially in fintechs and wallets space
- Working knowledge and experience of Payments Network highly desired
- Have an entrepreneurial approach and able to prioritize and manage parallel projects and issues
- Analytical thinking & project management aptitude
- Excellent communication skills from a written, verbal and presentation perspective
- Demonstrate multi-disciplinary knowledge, i.e. product, operations, acquiring and emerging technologies
- Client focused approach with the ability to interact across all management levels

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 10 years of proven sales / product experience / account management experience in payments / banking & financial services
- Demonstrated cross functional knowledge and experience in the working of a card scheme ecosystem (merchants/ Acquirer/ Network/Issuers/ card members)
- Fluenency : English
- Desired languages: Any Asian languages
