**Segmentation Strategy & BI**
**Department : Vehicle Sales & Marketing (BP60100)**

**Job Overview**
UD Trucks is known for our pioneering technologies and products within the commercial automotive industry. This role will:

- Track the development of all regions under UD Trucks and JVs and specifically monitor the truck market development, trends, competition activities and evolution of customer demand in each focus region/country.
- Segmentation analysis to establish, maintain and analyse current segmentation and potential segment to enter in the future.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

**Brand Positioning/Business Intelligence**:

- Track development of all focus regions/markets and prepare PESTEL updates for the management reference and use.
- Initiate and conduct surveys to identify the evolving market trends and customer preferences on a regular basis to help fine tune the UD Trucks and JVs overall strategy.
- Track the evolution of the HD, MD and LD truck markets in each region/market to closely monitor the market trend, regulatory changes, competitor activities, change in customer’s preference and provide these inputs to all the other functions so that these inputs are available to these functions to plan the product offer, features and the service offer.
- Work closely with the Product Offer Planning, Product Line Management and Service Offer Planning functions to identify opportunities to expand the sales in existing markets and also identify potential new markets and segments to enter with our product offer.

**Segmentation**:

- Develop segmentation for all markets and own sales breakdown.
- Create analysis for strategic purpose. (segmentation prioritization).

**Sales argumentation**:

- Support project teams and commercial teams with sales argumentation material.
- Coordinate with commercial training the information needed to support effective sales with right value approach.

**Minimum qualifications**
- At least a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
- At least 5 years’ experience of relevant working experience.
- Experience from the commercial vehicle industry and work experience in UD Trucks business areas. Good understanding of products, service and customers in the truck industry.
- Good at multi-tasking in a fast-moving working environment.
- Good at time management and stress-handling.
- Detail and result oriented, broad-based administration skill needed.
- Good understanding & knowledge of brand management and marketing communications, preferably UD Trucks brand management and marketing experience in the market company.
- Strong commitment and drive to take initiatives, improve, and deliver. Structured and systematic way of working. Open minded and fast learner.
- Good personality with team and teamwork.
- Excellent oral & written English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, in particular MS PowerPoint, Outlook and Word.
