We are seeking an Operation & Central Controller to provide comprehensive financial support to our Brands. This role involves managing monthly management reporting, budgeting, and conducting ad-hoc financial analyses. The Controller will focus on enhancing management reporting by establishing strong connections within the organization and delivering detailed analyses. It is essential to ensure the adoption of best practices and cohesive financial processes while suggesting and implementing improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee transportation controlling for multiple brands, including monitoring transportation costs, preparing journal entries, and providing detailed monthly analyses on cost impacts.
- Maintain responsibility for cost control, delivering relevant reports and action plans for tight budget control.
- Collaborate closely with the Operations and Supply Chain team.
- Manage brand controlling by planning, monitoring, and analyzing overall PLs, particularly the Central P&L, Operation P&L, and intercompany flows.
- Collaborate with regional and HQ teams, gaining in-depth knowledge of business units' operating environments.
- Coordinate with the accounting team for monthly closing activities.
- Conduct monthly analysis of industrial variances and standard costs, addressing obsolescence risks in coordination with the HQ and supply department.
- Prepare monthly reporting for Brands Management, including comprehensive understanding of all flows and providing recommendations as needed.
- Develop budgets, revisions, and landings in compliance with parent company requirements and timelines, working closely with local management and controlling teams.
- Contribute to ad hoc projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and the development of controlling processes.
- Ensure compliance with LVMH accounting standards and internal control guidelines.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Exhibit strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data.
- Adapt to changing environments and business needs.
- Possess a keen interest in working within a Supply Chain/Industrial environment.
Required Technical Skills:
- Qualified Accountant with a university degree in Finance or Business school.
- Proficient in Project Management.
- Familiarity with Power BI and SQL.
**Profile**:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of financial experience in an international group.
- Experience in operation/supply chain controlling is advantageous.
- Sound knowledge of accounting and controlling.
- Ability to quickly analyze, compare, and interpret data.
- Proactive, dynamic, and self-motivated individual.
- Strong team player with excellent Excel skills and a financial system-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with Power BI/SQL.
