**Core Responsibilities**
- Drive operations excellence ensuring Transportation performance measures are on-track.
- Start up Vietnam RDC outbound transport
- Accountable for handling regional transport budget in close collaboration with Finance business partner including; budgeting, budget deviation analysis, root cause analysis, identification & implementation of corrective actions and stakeholder management
- Engage with freight forwarders to ensure tight collaboration and performance governance towards service level agreement and LEGO standards
- Partner with Procurement and Global shipping team to ensure supplier service meets business requirements, and find opportunities for continuous improvement
- Collaborate closely with other functions in Supply Chain Operations (e.g. Distribution, Import/Export, Customer Logistics, Supply & Inventory Planning, Supply Chain development, Finance) to meet service, cost, and cash (inventory) objectives for the region

- The role is part of APAC & China Distribution team which is responsible for bringing products from manufacturing via distribution footprint to the hands of customers and consumers across the region
- The role is critical to ensure seamless transportation from RDCs to LDCs and customers eliminating ‘controllable’ delays. Succeeding in the role requires strong and transparent collaboration with RDC managers and LDC managers
- This role will report to Snr Director, APAC & China Distribution

**Do you have what it takes?**
- Solid experience with APAC & China supply chain management, working with Logistics & Distribution for leading FMCG/Consumer Goods brands
- Deep understanding of local/ regional/ global transportation networks, complexities and opportunities
- Demonstrated experience in direct management and leadership of freight forwarders
- Consistent track record in managing senior level stakeholders working in a diverse and multi-functional environment
- Team oriented, possesses good interpersonal and communication skills and strong personal drive to manage assigned responsibilities independently
- Strong problem solving skills and presentation skills
- Previous experience working with SAP and/or Fourkites would be an advantage
