**What the role is**

**What you will be working on**
- Co-lead and collaborate with operational agencies on STE programmes and initiatives (e.g. Ops-Tech capability building workshops, preparation and communication of WOG Guides);
- Boost WOG STE capabilities through increased cross-leveraging opportunities including the identification of STE agencies that can fulfil the role as CentEx across sectors/clusters, supporting those that have already been identified;
- Help each Ministry/Agency or across agencies build Ops-Tech capabilities via topical workshops and consultancies;
- Promote STE process/adoption improvements through consultation with agencies on how to incorporate S&T into their workflows;
- Facilitate partnerships and new initiatives with government and industry stakeholders to proliferate the use of STE in operations to achieve manpower and costs reduction;
- Organise and coordinate S&TPPO’s strategic plans and cross-divisional activities

**What we are looking for**
- Educational Qualifications

i. Tertiary education in Science or Engineering or Materials Science or Life Sciences, or related field

ii. Postgraduate qualifications may be an advantage
- Professional Experience

i. At least 7 years of relevant work experience in the Science or Engineering field will be required
- Competencies

i. Experience in strategic planning would be an advantage

ii. Strong influencing, collaboration, analytical and systems thinking and critical thinking abilities

iii. Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills with the ability to translate concepts into implementation plans

iv. Pro-active, quality conscious, attentive to details and strong stakeholder management skills.
