Functional (job responsibilities)- Responsible for supervising and manage insurance product team, banca advisors and insurance specialist/wealth planner to ensure sales volumes and revenue budget are met.- Coordinate with segment heads, Wealth Specialist head, BA Head, RCMs/BMs to optimize Banca sales presence with the aim to extend customer reach.- Establish and manage a robust sales system and processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in the sales cycle.- Provide training, mentor-ship, and guidance to the sales team, empowering them to excel in their roles.- Work closely with the rest of product heads, Head of Investment and Product to develop strategic business plans and drive innovative ideas to drive business growth including adoption of digital in sales channels.- Take ownership of building and drive overall department business to meet business plans.- Leverage on industry expertise and network to identify and pursue new business opportunities.- Stay updated with market trends, competitors, and industry developments to inform sales strategies and business decisions.- Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the sales department, encouraging teamwork, independence, and resourcefulness.- Work with segment strategy, marketing and sales management to drive business activities.
Managerial (team/group responsibilities)- Oversee HLB Wealth insurance business in all locations.- Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve desired results.- Identify talent and to ensure strong performance from all members of the team.
Organizational (organizational responsibilities)- Responsible for overseeing Insurance performance and execute business strategies to ensure sales and revenue targets are met.- Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within internal Insurance arm, brokers, business- channel, encouraging teamwork, independence, and resourcefulness.
Requirement- Strong understanding of insurance business for all client segments from Private Banking to mass banking in Malaysia, Singapore and other Asian markets.- Minimum 15 years of Insurance industry experience with proven track record.- High negotiation skill, strategic mindset.- Post graduate / MBA and a Licentiate / Associate in insurance would be desirable, though not
- essential.
