Manager of Field Application Specialists Advanced

**Main Responsibilities & Tasks**:

- Achieve BU product / product group Spec Win targets. Ensure actively support for the customers in designing (spec-in) the BU products and services in the (pre)clinical to commercial manufacturing process of cell/gene-therapy and DNA/RNA therapeutics.
- Establish and standardize trial process / report from technical level and support the results converting to the real sales
- Handle customer technical complaint together with Quality department properly
- Conduct research to define targeted customer segments and determine the key values that drive buying behavior for each segment
- Support field marketing activities and monitor effectiveness of marketing initiatives and campaigns
- Maintain the relationship with key product users and opinion leaders, build up products reference list and user list

**Qualification & Skills**:

- Academic degree in biotechnology, biology, biochemistry, or similar life science disciplines
- Profound experience in the life science industry with a focus on cell & gene therapy, DNA-/RNA
- Similar leadership experience would be an advantage
- Strong understanding of the biopharma, vaccine, regenerative medicine, or other related industries
- Keen intellectual curiosity and leadership skillset to solve technical, scientific, business, and interpersonal challenges
- Excellent teamwork skills and proven ability to also work with cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Know how to deal with the conflicts especially in dealing with customer complaint
- Good training and presentation skills
- Very good English skills, oral & written
- Proven software skills, e.g. CRM-System, Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Powerpoint, etc.), financial tools and others
- Willingness to travel (approx. 50%) within the territory / region and flexibility to international travels
