Roles & Responsibilities
Join the Company operating Chemical Tankers in Global Trade.
- Requirements:
- Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level or relevant work experience
- Proficiency in marine procurement, MS Word, and Excel
**Job Description**:
- Purchaser Responsibilities- Procure ship spares and supplies globally.
- Select suppliers based on pricing, availability, quality, delivery schedules, and logistics.
- Collaborate across departments to meet vessel needs.
- Oversee ship spares/stores loading and shipping arrangements.
- Ensure on-time deliveries and product/service quality.
- Issue Purchase Orders and monitor deliveries.
- Enforce contract compliance, address defects with vendors.
- Manage payments and expenses with accurate record-keeping.
- Maintain an approved supplier list with annual reviews.
- Provide administrative support and other duties.
- Administrative Responsibilities:
- Compile monthly Time Punch Cards and punctuality records.
- Update staff leave, Off-in-lieu, and MC records.
- Manage office supplies and handle incoming mail.
- Attach suppliers’ invoices for payment approval.
- Review Petty Cash claims, update records, and distribute cash.
- Update the training calendar.
- Create annual greeting cards.
- Arrange flights and hotels for staff business trips.
