This position will support the Environment strategy execution, technical consultation to the workforce on a wide range of environmental issues, and implementation of the Environment Processes in the Products Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) organization. Work with Senior Environmental Specialist and Senior Sustainability Specialist in the Global HSE organization to understand and manage corporate environment process requirements, maintain compliance with environmental standards, and provide guidance to operations on environmental issues. Support digitization and process simplification initiatives, and coordinate environment process training in all regions.** This position can be located at Fuels and Lubricants Plant/Terminal in Singapore, Malaysia or Philippines.**
As this position holder is the member of the Global HSE organization supporting both AFL and IFL organization, position holder is required to travel 15-20% of the time and able to work flexible schedule to support regional organization in their time zones.
**Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to**:
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on environmental issues, regulatory advocacy, and advising BU regarding reduction in environment process area risks.
- Overall environmental contractor coordination for BU & serve as a contact for Contract Owners.
- Facilitate the sharing of Environmental best practices and learnings across the ISC organization.
- Act as an advisor to establish and sustain the Chevron Environment Processes.
- Conduct and review waste disposal sites in accordance with the Chevron Third-Party Waste Stewardship program.
- Leverage technology and digitalization efforts to simplify corporate reporting requirements.
- Improve OC within the field HSE teams to raise level of workforce fluency in environment processes by developing training (incorporating BU specific information) and training of trainers.
- Establish and provide oversight to Environment assurance protocols, analyze trends, and recommend continual improvement opportunities to learn. Serve as the BU SME to ensure Environmental risks are represented in assurance activities and BU MSC.
**Technical Skill**:
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of enterprise OE processes or environmental management systems and experience in developing training for field HSE teams.
- Experience in engaging with regulatory agencies on compliance-related actions.
