**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
**BACKGROUND**:
Grow Asia is a multi - stakeholder partnership platform established by the World Economic Forum in collaboration with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). Our mission is to transform food systems in Southeast Asia to become more inclusive, sustainable, and resilient to climate change. As a network of over 770 global and regional partners, Grow Asia fosters collaboration to drive impact by convening decision - makers, mobilizing partnerships and finance, and delivering solutions across field, national, and regional levels. With its base in Singapore and five country chapters, Grow As ia operates 44 Working Groups and engages 3.4 million smallholder farmers with technical assistance and blended finance solutions.

**THE ROLE**:
The Assistant Manager, Policy and Partnerships will play a pivotal role in supporting targeted outreach and engagement with key stakeholders and partners in the agri-food system in Asia. Reporting to the Executive Director, this role will support the work of internal departments in delivering high-impact activities aimed at building and strengthening strategic relationships, driving policy initiatives, and supporting Grow Asia's mission to foster inclusive and sustainable agriculture.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
1. Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management
- Support the Executive Director in identifying and engaging with key stakeholders, including government agencies, private sector companies, development organizations, and NGOs.
- Participate in meetings, conferences, and external events to promote the organization’s mission and initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for Grow Asia Council members to engage in global initiatives and platforms, leveraging Grow Asia’s relationship with WEF and other international organizations.
- Identify and pursue partnership opportunities with organizations that align with Grow Asia’s goals.
- Support the development of proposals, concept notes, and partnership agreements.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure alignment and effective implementation of partnership initiatives.

2. Policy Support and Analysis
- Monitor and analyze policy developments in agriculture, food systems, and rural development across Asia.
- Prepare policy briefs, reports, and presentations to support Grow Asia’s outreach efforts and inform decision-making.
- Assist in the development of policy recommendations and strategies that align with Grow Asia’s mission.

3. Event Support and Coordination
- Support the Head of Communication and internal teams in the planning and execution of high-quality events and campaigns including the Countdown to COP30.
- Assist in the planning and execution of multi-stakeholder events, workshops, and dialogues including the Grow Asia Investment Forum and the Grow Asia Council Meetings
- Track and report on the progress and impact of policy and partnership activities.

Take minutes at meetings and maintain accurate records of governance developments, stakeholder engagements and partnership activities.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Policy, International Relations, Agriculture, Development Studies, or a related field.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in stakeholder engagement, policy analysis, or partnership development, preferably within the agri - food system or a related sector.

Regional knowledge of food systems and rural development challenges and opportunities in Asia.

Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across cultures.

Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to synthesize information and develop actionable insights.

Proactive, detail - oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast - paced environment.

Experience in a multi - stakeholder partnership or international development organization is an advantage
