The Director of the RF Multi-Market Product Line is an expert of the products and markets. This is a full P&L role responsible for planning, budgeting, sales, marketing and execution all through the lifecycle of the products. This includes gathering and prioritizing requirements for the products, products definition and collaborating with engineering, marketing, sales and operations teams to ensure timely product launch, relevant support requirements are in place, and managing the products from launch to end-of life. In addition, the Product Line Director is to ensure that the company’s overall strategy and goals are supported by the products, and the product goals and strategy are achieve.
- This position is a senior management and leadership role.
- Full P&L responsibility including but not limited to budget planning, revenue goals & gross margins.
- The role is responsible for the staffing and development of the Product Team.
- Liaison with key leaders and management of R&D, operations, engineering, marketing and sales.
- Responsible for the translation of the product needs into requirements and to drive consensus within the teams to achieve the product goals.
- Responsible for clear and efficient product road mapping, product planning, prioritization and an overall agile product development process.
- Responsible in keeping the stakeholders up to date on product process and progress.
- Responsible for building the products’ vision, business case, as well as compiling the product planning material necessary for driving product initiatives.
- Responsible for developing, defining and overseeing the products’ roadmap and managing it as required for the purpose of meeting deliverables for the business.
- Responsible for the development backlog and makes priorities as determined by the business, consumer and market needs.
- Responsible for engaging with customers and market stakeholders to gain first hand insight on the market trend, competitive landscape and customer needs, so as to provide real-time feedback into the product development strategy.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop pricing, go-to-market and customer engagement strategies.
- Responsible for relevant product research, establishing competitive intelligence and various market analyses that further aids the business in understanding current and future product needs.
- Represent the business and promote the products by advocating for their values and benefits at executive briefings, marketing events, social medias and so forth.
