Director Production - responsible to leading a department Leading a department of ~600 employees, including production managers,manufacturing engineers, line engineers, technicians & operators to ensure smooth production management to produce efficiently, on time,within budget and to quality standard with strong knowledge on manufacturing science and production management In your new role you will: - **Leading a departmen **t of ~ **600 employees **, including production managers,manufacturing engineers, line engineers, technicians & operators to ensure smooth production management to produce efficiently, on time,within budget and to quality standard - Effectively plan, organize, control and manage the 4Ms in production **to meet department KPI's (Cycle Time, Delivery, Cost)**: - **Initiate/lead productivity **and **cost savings projects **contributing to the KPI such as implementing improvements to the production process /cost control program - Analyse, identify and rectify production issues such as " **bottleneck”equipment / area, **quality issues**: - Responsible for overall **people management **and development as well as to **manage production budgets**: - **Implement and enforce quality control and tracking programs **to meet quality objectives - Ensure implementation and adherence to **health and safety procedures**: - Ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between support departments - Proactively contribute and support the **industrial 4.0 initiatives **and transformation, including automation, digitalisation and AI projects You are best equipped for this task if you have: - **Bachelor's Degree **in Engineering discipline with at least **10 years **of relevant experience in **semiconductor manufacturing **/ relevant functions as **production manager**: - **Excellent knowledge **of **Production Management **and **Manufacturing Science**: - A trustworthy and **influencing team leader **with excellent interpersonal skills - Demonstrate **strong communication skills **and know how to establish lasting relationships with colleagues - Excellent **leadership skill **in managing and developing the team members Singapore is our regional headquarter for Asia-Pacific and consists of production, research & development, sales & marketing, supply chain and many central functions. **Part of your life.
