As part of the DTC Regional Business Unit team, the Director, Business Acquisition is responsible for assembling business development and work winning teams with the requisite qualifications and experience; establishing a local presence and a positive company image within regional and targeted markets, and business opportunities that result in achieving established and long-term targets.
**Explore your tasks and responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement marketing, sales and regional account management activities to maintain and expand the company’s participation in project opportunities for the business unit.
- Strategic Planning (one, three and five years planning), working with the business unit leadership to develop specific market sector and client level plans, aligned with Group directives.
- Lead the development of the overall Win Strategy that considers the solution to be delivered and the target cost, margin and offer price necessary to be both profitable and commercially competitive.
- Client development - may serve as a regional account manager (RAM) for key clients in his/her respective area. Responsible for working with other RAM in his/her area to oversee development of appropriate RAM plans and execution of such plans.
- Provides input to marketing and technical groups on marketing and sales plans. This includes recommendations for product and territorial opportunities, representing and promoting the company at networking events, professional and industry associations, society meetings, conferences, and tradeshows.
- Working within the RAM and Global Account Management (GAM) framework, oversees their plans and efforts in identifying leads, undertaking pursuits and capture plans, including the documenting and updating on status (including Salesforce) of in pursuit of EUR1B pipeline.
- Explores business opportunities with new clients and areas, through cold calls or letters of interest; identifies prospects, screens project opportunities, and schedules contacts, visits, information gathering and follow-up.

- Expert knowledge of the Mission Critical sectors, specifically brownfield and greenfield data centers.
- Outgoing, self-starter with innate sales orientation, optimism, and drive; good organizational skills.
- Hands on approach with exceptional Client Service, Commitment, Communication, Innovation & Continuous Improvement, Professionalism, Quality, and Teamwork.
- Demonstrable people leader with solid experience managing and developing multidisciplinary teams to deliver tasks within demanding timescales.
- Results-oriented with an extremely high work ethic, stringent health, safety and quality standards, and hands-on, can-do attitude.
- Must be able to travel regionally and internationally, including spending extended periods on internal assignment as required.
Bachelor's degree, such as Business Administration, Business Management or related Technical degree.
17+ years relevant experience and proven track record in sales (with a minimum 5 years in a director capacity).
Experience and exposure to working for/with a large EPC company.
