**Description & Requirements**:

- Position Summary

Kinesso, is seeking an experienced, commercially-minded, proactive, and self-motivated transactional attorney with a strong interest in digital advertising and data science to join its legal team as APAC regional counsel based in Singapore. This talented business lawyer will support and counsel Kinesso’s key executive stakeholders, our data and technology product organizations, and our marketing services and advertising agency affiliates throughout the APAC region, in at least 10 markets.
- Key Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements with technology partners, digital platforms, advertisers, ad servers, and data management companies, as well as ad tech platforms and ad tech technology providers.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with a wide variety of Kinesso business units, including the ad tech product teams, innovation development teams, product engineering teams, ad ops, affiliated IPG companies, finance, engineering, digital responsibility/privacy, and marketing teams.
- Working closely with other members of the legal team to expeditiously close contracts, resolve business problems, mitigate risk, and thoughtfully manage the company's broader data collection, storage, use, and transfer practices.
- Assessing, drafting, updating, implementing, and monitoring guidelines, standard agreements, policies, processes, and procedures on a wide variety of legal issues.
- Keeping up to date on the latest developments in APAC laws, regulation, and industry trends applicable to ad tech, digital media and technology, OTT, and IOT.
- Desired Skills & Experience
- A Law degree from a reputable university or college.
- Be licensed to practice law in Singapore.
- A sense of urgency and ability to separate the irrelevant from the relevant, and quickly identify problems and associated risks, provide options for solving, and clearly articulate business-minded recommendations.
- Minimum of 7+ years of legal experience in a fast-paced, business and/or law firm.
- Experience negotiating commercial agreements and a demonstrated ability to translate legal requirements into actionable advice.
- Experience drafting and negotiating SaaS agreements, digital marketing agreements or similar services or licensing agreements, including related privacy and data security provisions.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and move multiple matters forward expeditiously, managing both internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to speak and read other languages a plus but not required.
- The ability to quickly understand complex products and services, while identifying key issues and risks and offering creative and clear solutions for business enablement.
- A solid understanding of digital, internet, advertising, and/or internet technology.
- Skills and experience necessary to advise on a broad range of legal issues.
