The Project Manager is responsible for driving the implementation and execution of product development and commercialization in medical device & life science instruments. The successful incumbent will also manage platform technology programs (e.g. Acoustics Ejection MS, Liquid Chromatography and Capillary Electrophoresis projects), and will prioritize, balance and analyze options to best deliver deliverables to organization.

This position is part of the Research and Development Department will be located in Woodlands, Singapore.

**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:

- Develop project scope with product management. Lead and direct the project planning effort to meet the project deliverables (concepts, prototype and pilot units, QMS artifacts and design reviews). Develop the project budget and baseline, combining all estimates from teams contributing to the project.
- Actively maintain control over the project by measuring/monitoring performance (Critical path) and taking follow-up corrective or preventive action based on project issue/risk.
- Periodic update to project sponsors/stakeholders, which includes status, risks, issues, delays, successes, scope changes, schedule and project performance.
- Manages the storage and retention of all project related “Controlled Documents” to ensure ISO conformance.

**The essential requirements of the job include**:

- Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years’ project management experience in instrumentation or complex system design-related business.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Medical Device Registration/Submission
- Relevant experience in Product Development and Sustaining preferred.
- PMP certification an advantage.
