Accountant

As the Accountant, you will be report directly to the Finance Manager. You will be responsible for the full sets of accounts including Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable/General Ledger functions, including staff claims, billing and receipts processes. You will also be supporting month end closing activities and any other matters as required.
FINANCE ACCOUNTING:
- Preparation of full set of accounts (AR/AP/GL/Fixed assets) and month end PL/BS reports for Regional HQ entity
- Processing intercompany billings and payments
- Maintaining monthly balance sheet schedules, including bank reconciliations
- Consolidation and payment of staff claims and payroll related matters
- Maintaining fixed assets ledger in SAP
- Preparation of quarterly GST returns
- Perform weekly cashflow forecast for Regional HQ entity
- Assist in audit related financial matters
- Assist in preparation of yearly forecasting and budgeting exercise for Regional HQ entity
- Support Philippines JV in monthly closing activities, including balance sheet reconciliations to ECCO’s SAP system
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

**Experience/Skills**
- BSc degree in Finance, Accounting, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
- Possess at least 3 years’ hands on experience in finance and accounting, including handling full sets of accounts. Audit background is a bonus.
- Familiar with SAP/SAP BPC, and adaptable to learning new systems.
- Must be process oriented, disciplined and have attention to detail with an eye for accuracy.
- A self-starter, proactive and hands-on approach.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- An ability to think & work strategically and systematically - continuously prioritizing key deliverables.
- Exposure to retail and FMCG industry is an advantage.
