Reporting to: TNSEA FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

The Assistant Financial Controller reports to and works closely with the Financial Controller of Thales NSEA, based in Singapore. The scope covers around 12+ countries where about 180 employees are dedicated to Thales International (Thint) activities.

The job holder has 2 main responsibilities:
Financial control and monitoring of the Key Industrial Partners ;
Financial control and monitoring of the payments to the Business Advisors.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:
**Financial control and monitoring of the Key Industrial Partners**
- Prepare and submit to the Financial Controller the financial due diligence memos on the Key Industrial Partners as per Thales KIP policy. Check and report all the Show-stoppers and Risk factors during the qualification process and the follow-up action plans ;
- Follow-up pro-actively the KIP due diligence processes with dashboards ;
- Prepare the financial analyses requested by external and internal auditors in this domain ;
- Assist the TNSEA team in the various requests for finance information regarding KIP (COO, CCO, BA & KIP managers, IOD and legal department).

I**Financial Control and monitoring of the payments to the Business Advisors**
- Key in all the financial data and parameters of the qualified BA in the BAMS database ;
- Prepare and submit to the CFO the billing to the Operating Units as per the contracts (milestones) ;
- Prepare and submit to the CFO and COO the approval for acceptance and payment of the BA invoices (C4) ;
- Instruct the Accounting Department with the booking/posting of entries relating to the payments to the BA and invoices to the OU ;
- With the support of the BAMS IS IT project team, stabilize and improve the finance section in BAMS NG. Participate in any improvement initiative to optimize and secure the tool and database.
**Requirements**:

- Master’s degree with 2 years of experience in accounting/finance
- Financial analysis experience
- Ability to read and analyze Financial Statements (Balance sheet, P&L & Notes to the Financial Statements) from region, knowledge of French and English is essential.
- Good computer skills (Microsoft Office), including advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge and experience
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to work independently with clear direction
- Excellent judgment, planning and organizational skills
- Must be detail oriented, reliable, thorough and also have a good overview to synthetize risks
- Positive attitude and willing to learn and develop
