Singapore ST ENGINEERING AUTONOMOUS SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. Full time

**Responsibilities & Duties**:

- Lead/execute projects from conception to deployment on autonomous vehicles
- Lead technical debates and build consensus for solutions
- Planning of software development, sensor fusion, LiDAR, Radar, testing, analysis and validation of the results.
- Understanding of sensor characteristics and limitation
- Own the full life cycle of new features development from proof of concept stage to on-car software integration by coordinating with the downstream teams
- Collaborate to design, implement, optimize and test the onboard software pipeline for lidar perception
- Collaborate with other teams, including object detection, navigation planning-control, ML data service and systems engineering teams
- Conduct code reviews and guide junior team members on code quality, correctness and efficiency
- Provide technical leadership in the areas of code quality and design
- Collaborate with the team of algorithm experts within perception, prediction and tracking
- Architect codebase to maintain a high degree of modularity & quality while achieving fast, reliable runtime that meets ASIL and other certifications
- Work on IP filing

**Qualification**:

- PhD, Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Prior experience in any of pose estimation, probabilistic filtering, SLAM, 3D mapping, nonlinear optimization, autonomous driving is a bonus
- 5 years of Autonomous or Robotics experience

**Experience & Skill Requirement**:

- Experience working on Robotics, or Autonomous system
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Experience in perception sensors including LIDAR, radar or cameras.
- Experience designing and implementing object tracking algorithms.
- Experience designing, training, and analyzing neural networks
- Lidar point cloud registration, geometric computer vision, or state estimation
- Solve real world robotics problems in one or more of the following areas: Robotic SLAM, localization, large scale mapping, 2D/3D mapping, etc.
- Experience in handling large memory for real-time systems
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Programming experience in C++, Python
- Familiar with GIT, and CI/CD is a bonus
- Docker knowhow is added advantage
- Passionate about coding and programming, innovation, and solving challenging problems
- Highly self-motivated, creative thinking, hands-on skills, team work and interpersonal skills
- Experience with point cloud processing algorithms and Image Geometric Computer Vision
- Strong background in linear algebra
- Solid background in parallelism, concurrency
- CUDA programming is added advantage
- Knowledge of Linux, and development on Linux systems
- Knowhow of ROS will be added advantage, and/or DDS
- Experience in UML diagram technique
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
