**In Brief**:
EVYD Technology is building a future where everyone can access better healthcare. As a Director in Data Science, you will use your technical expertise to grow and develop a team of data scientists working on data processing, mining, analysis, and modelling. Using users' behavioral data and incorporating healthcare domain attributes of these users, you will produce and derive insights to improve users' adherence to prescribed digital routines and in turn improve their health.

You will work with colleagues with working experience in the healthcare industry to craft data science use cases and follow through to deliver well-communicated insights from data science models incorporating data from disparate healthcare systems to draw compelling conclusions from disparate data.

**Key Deliverables**:

- Plan and implement a strategy to build out a world-class data science function for EVYD.
- Develop and build data analytics and machine learning models to incorporate into EVYD's product suite and internal/external client use-cases and business intelligence.

**Responsibilities**:

- Establish, plan, and administer overall policies and goals of the data science team and determine appropriate tools, techniques, staffing, and methodologies to extract data that produces meaningful results.
- Lead the delivery of data science models to grow EVYD's user base and their engagement with our products, including both mobile and web apps.
- Communicate with internal and external clients to understand business problems and create data science use cases to derive solutions.
- Communicate data science models and results to both technical and non-technical audiences using PowerPoint presentations and written reports.
- Work with data scientists and data management team to obtain relevant data points, and perform required data pre-processing, feature engineering to build relevant data science models for use cases. Ensure that data science functions are developed as a full, high-quality solution.
- Collaborate and support the behavioral science and medical advisory teams to build data science models that integrate technology and medical intelligence.
- Research, experiment, implement and document class-leading algorithms in healthcare domains.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, or related fields. A Master's degree in similar fields will be an advantage.
- Highly proficient in programming languages and data science tools such as Python, Jupyter Notebook, and in machine learning tools and libraries such as pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch etc.
- More than 10 years of working experience in the field of data science/analytics, with at least 3 years' working experience in senior engineering/data science positions in consumer internet companies, and work data science models in engagement analytics, consumer (marketing) analytics or recommendations systems.
- In-depth knowledge of statistics, machine learning, or deep learning techniques.
- Experience in PaaS software development.
- Good at extracting raw data from various sources, including webpages.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Mandarin will be a plus to work with internal stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment and adapt to changes according to business needs.
- Overseas travel for client engagement will be required.
