**About the role**

You are responsible for planning, researching, creating, producing, and presenting video content for various social media channels to help MINDEF/SAF and So Drama Entertainment (SDE) engage key stakeholders and the general public on defence and security matters and other national issues.

**What you will be working on**
- Create wide-ranging video content including news videos, short films, documentaries, web series, reality series or corporate videos
- Produce videos to support digital crisis communication and incident response efforts when needed

**Challenge(s)**
- Understanding audiences and adapting video productions in accordance with evolving trends and audience interests
- Working efficiently under time pressure and in uncertain situations

**What we are looking for**
- Education in Communications or a relevant field, majoring in broadcast journalism or film/video production is preferred
- At least 2 of relevant work experience in film/video production is advantageous
- Experience producing a range of video content (light-hearted, humorous, serious, long-form, and short-form) for various platforms
- Excellent command of English
- Ability to speak and articulate well
- Passion for storytelling
- Good eye for visuals and attention to detail
- Self-disciplined and achievement-oriented
- Ability to work independently, quickly, and efficiently
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Critical and innovative thinking
- Ability to develop assessments and recommendations
- Keen interest in current affairs, military and defence-related matters, media and video-related technology and trends
