- The Strategic Partnership Team is embarking on an effort to identify and engage with late stage start-ups and Unicorns to secure long lasting partnerships with such organizations and get them to utilize the benefits of our platforms and leverage the advantages of our business model.
About the Role
- We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Azure Apps & Infrastructure Cloud Solution Architect to drive high priority customer initiatives on the Microsoft Azure Platform in collaboration with customers and the Microsoft field for the Unicorn and Late-stage customers across APAC.
- This is a customer facing role, owning the overall technical relationship between the customer and Microsoft Azure Infrastructure. This role owns the Azure Apps & Infrastructure technical customer engagements including technical disovery and architectural design sessions, specific Proof of Value/Concepts, and early production Pilots. In this role, you will serve as the trusted advisor technically to our most strategic late-stage startups and unicorns.

**Responsibilities**:

- Key responsibilities will include:
- Building strategic technical partnerships early in the sales cycle with the Unicorns in our portfolio to accelerate their growth and build new solutions on Azure.-
- Onboarding target Unicorns on Azure platform, designing and helping to migrate to Azure, as well as partnering with them to develop new product, while striking the right goals for unicorns.-
- Understand customers' overall cloud strategy, technology and business priorities and success measures to design implementation architectures and solutions (Microsoft and 3rd party solutions) using PaaS, DevOps, and OSS.-
- Collaborate with other Cloud Solution Architects in developing complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions on the Microsoft Azure platformEnsure all solutions exhibit high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment.-
- Develop deep relationships with key customer technical decision makers, to drive long-term cloud adoption within their company to enable them to be cloud advocates.-
- Be the Voice of the Customer; Share insights and best practices and connect with Engineering teams to remove key blockers.-
- Assess the Customers' knowledge of Azure platform and overall cloud readiness to support customers through a structured learning plan and ensure its delivery through partners.-
- Maintain technical skills and knowledge of market trends and competitive insights; collaborate and share with the technical community.-
- Be an Azure Platform evangelist with customers, partners, and external communities, with an emphasis on understanding of startups ecosystems, VC (Venture Capital) firms, and incubators.- Other- Embody our culture and values**Qualifications**:

Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Relationship Building. Proven track record of building deep technical relationships with senior IT executives in large or highly strategic accounts. Experience in managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on solution/projects-
- Strong business acumen and experience to quickly understand the customer’s industry and business to have relevant discussions with business decision makers.-
- Problem Solving. Ability to solve customer problems through cloud technologies.-
- Collaboration and Communication. Acknowledged for driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to orchestrate, lead, and influence virtual teams, ensuring successful implementation of customer projects. Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences (including but not limited to Senior Executives, IT management, Technical Leadership)- Technical Experience:
- Technical experience with cloud scale, building infrastructure foundations and hybrid infrastructures, producing architectural designs, architecture designs and performing relevant technical demos

- Competitive Landscape: High level understanding of capabilities on competitive cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)- Breadth of technical experience and knowledge, with depth / Subject Matter Expertise in two or more of the following Apps & Infra Cloud solutions required:
- Domain expertise of cloud infrastructure solutions (e.g. IaaS - Linux), High-Availability, Disaster Recovery Design, Security, Governance, Storage, Networking, OSS solutions, containers, and Infrastructure as a Code technologies)Container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes, RedHat OpenShift, Cloud Foundry);At least one of the following programming languages: C++, C#, Java, Node.js, JSON, PHP, Perl, Python, Ruby on Rails, Pig/Hive)-
