You will be responsible for designing, underwriting and pricing Chubb’s most innovative digital product ideas. As Digital Underwriter (DU) you will work in an Agile team led by a “Blink” Product Owner - with support from a significant technical underwriting and actuarial team. **Your responsibilities will include**: - Support Product viability assessments with clearly defined exposure analysis and product pricing to feed customer affordability analysis. - Modelling using traditional and non-traditional data, including 3rd party data sources - Modelling of product P&L’s - Focussing on sustainable product development that will drive Blink’s long term growth and profitability. - Work closely with Digital teams and key account managers in effectively pricing & building unique coverages for our partners and end consumers - Delivery of pricing and coverage parameters to agreed timelines. - Focus on building products which can deliver enhanced customer experience, one of the core values for Blink - Post-launch monitoring of product performance for take-up ratios, purchase propensity, customer stickiness and profitability. - Communication and collaboration with Chubb stakeholders at country, regional and global levels. - Ongoing assessment of market opportunities, development of business cases and assessment of competitor activities and products. - Building relationships within all levels of Chubb’s Asia Pacific region and Global teams to facilitate product worthiness, relevancy and speed to market. - Expanding Blink’s brand awareness. - Developing the skills and knowledge of underwriters within the Asia Pacific region. If you are a pro-active, problem solving underwriter with a creative flair, project management skills and excellent communication skills we would like to hear from you. **Qualifications**: - 5 years underwriting or actuarial experience in Accident & Health, personal lines, or other consumer products. - Advanced level of SAS and EMBLEM an advantage - Customer first mindset and approach to product development - Is self-motivated and seizes opportunities to make a difference - Team player, comfortable at working in a less structured environment - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels. - A “hands on” business builder, natural problem solver, who can make decisions and prioritize initiatives effectively - Insurance industry, Fintech, Insurtech or end-to-end consumer Digital experience advantageous. - Willingness to travel and to participate in remote meetings for stakeholders in other time zones
