This role involves building relationships with intermediaries, ensuring quality underwriting services, and contributing to product development and innovation across multiple distribution channels.**Your new role:*** Support underwriting activities across multiple distribution channels.* Maintain good working relationships with customers, intermediaries, and internal stakeholders.* Assist in product development, innovation, and testing.* Participate in relevant meetings to share and develop strategy, knowledge, and best practices.* Maintain current knowledge of insurance guidelines and policy changes, recommending changes to company policies and procedures where appropriate.* Establish and promote the company image with key clients.* Support the evaluation of risk for new business and renewals to ensure profitable growth.* Adhere to underwriting standards, instructions, and good practice to minimise risks and maximise efficiency.* Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines, internal audit, and other governance and compliance requirements.**About you:*** Degree or equivalent qualification preferable* Working experience with substantial experience gained within the insurance industry* Thorough understanding of class specific underwriting and procedure and reinsurance knowledge* Working experience in the insurance industry* Use of risk profiling and pricing tools* Use of loss models.* Established customer and broker relationships## **About QBE**At QBE, we’re enabling a more resilient future – for our customers, communities, environment, and for our people.
