Aon is currently recruiting an **Associate Director, **Financial Services & Professions Group** to join our team in Singapore.

**The Opportunity**
- Manage and/or provide support to a portfolio of Aon clients in the Financial Lines sector and all associated day-to-day account management including claims.
- Contributing to ongoing client satisfaction, retention and profitability.
- Providing advice to clients and colleagues on placement design, available coverage and capacity, likely pricing, potential coverage enhancements and market progress within scope of responsibility.
- Undertaking placement activities such as:

- Produce market quotations;
- Negotiating terms and conditions of placement with lead underwriters, obtaining quotes, and handling underwriter queries (and requests) for information;
- Ensuring complete placement by negotiating with underwriters, handling underwriter queries and requests for information.
- Client and placement documentation / file administration.
- Working in partnership with the local Aon country brokers as well as Cedants to ensure their needs and expectations are met.
- To collaborate with other teams on joint opportunities.
- Understanding market trends
- Compliance with Continuing Professional Development requirements from MAS and other mandatory training and compliance of Aon.

**Responsibilities**:

- Developing broker strategies
- Executing technical renewal or new placement plans including negotiations with Underwriters
- Drafting broking slip, insurance contracts, endorsement and other relevant broking documents
- Preparing market materials (broker submissions) for broking risks to the Underwriters
- Building and maintaining relationships with underwriters
- Developing and maintaining technical knowledge and experience in the Financial Lines field of expertise
- Working within the team to promote best practices
**Requirements**:

- Relevant experience either in wholesale or retail markets of between 5-8 years
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with external markets and internally with our network offices in the region
- Meticulous, hardworking, ambitious and great interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and maintain business relationships
- Demonstrates knowledge of the Insurance industry within the APAC region
- Team Player
- Degree with ACII / AAII qualification or equivalent (but not essential)
